"I'm one of the lucky ones because I get to ride frequently at Niagara Riding Stables. The real advantage here though is that while riding through the Niagara Escarpment it's possible to see this protected environment "up close and personal" from the back of a horse. What an amazing experience that is! I highly recommend it"

Every one of our horses are part of an extended family here at Niagara Riding Stables, and like family members, they are treated with the utmost care and affection. Above all else, our mission has always been to work in partnership with these wonderful creatures. Come and see the difference in our horses for yourself. Cino
• 9 year old Dark Bay Thoroughbred gelding

• The king of the herd

• Loves to scratch himself on trees and hug them while being ridden
Cobra
• 17 year old Black Arab
• Very energetic and enthusiastic
• Bit of a poser, always looking pretty, wants to work in film.
• Ridden by staff and experienced riders only.
Lex
• Black 14 year old Clydesdale/Hackney cross gelding
• Great for inexperienced or experienced riders
• Steers English
• Likes to wander a bit if you don't direct him.
• Has quirky habits.
• We call him lizard tongue because of the funny face he makes eating mints.
Molson
• 11 year old Leopard Spotted Appaloosa/Quarter Horse/Morgan cross gelding
• Enthusiastic and willing
• Great for inexperienced or experienced riders
• He's the clown of the herd
• Loves to play with the other horses
• Very handy with his mouth, likes to steal buckets and play tug of war with his friends
Brock
• 10 year old Black Belgian/Hackney cross gelding
• Great with both inexperienced and experienced riders
• Likes to eat grass if he knows he can get away with it
• Brock is well travelled, started on Carriage in N-O-T-L, moved to the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville to lead trails, now he's home with us.

BB
• 11 year old registered Paint mare
• AKA "Zee Me Zoom"
• BB is new here at Niagara Riding Stables

Winston
• 28 year old Palomino Belgian/Quarter Horse cross gelding
• Very responsive and willing
• Great for inexperienced or experienced riders
• Winston is multi-talented, he use to pull a sleigh in past winters before coming to our stable.
• Very curious and likes to nibble on things.
Bailey
• 17 year old Belgian/Hackney/Quarter Horse cross mare
• Has a dual personality
• Anyone can ride her in the summer, she's an angel
• In the Winter and Spring she kicks into 'turbo mode' and is only suitable for 'really' experienced riders
• She' s a moody mare, likes to throw her weight around in the field
King
• 18 year old Black Percheron gelding
• Majestic 18hh
• Very responsive with lots of pep in his step
• Thinks he's an oversized Arabian
Storm
• 12 year old Paint gelding with one "Blue" eye
• New to Niagara Riding Stables
• Very responsive, well trained but not quite ready yet for "Prime Time"

Piper
• 17 year old Quarter horse gelding• Good for intermediate and experienced riders
• Like the Eveready Bunny, he just keeps going and going and going
• Very responsive with lots of pep in his step
• Don't get between Piper and his bucket of grain at breakfast time

• Sweet disposition
• Gentle and reliable
